Our Approach

Driven by our core values, our approach to supported living services takes a personcentred approach, where we are able to identify which areas of support will be most beneficial to each individual and will work closely with them to ensure that their goals and choices are at the heart of everything we do. Our person-centred approach promotes independence, dignity, choice, and control, embedding the Reach Standards across our services. Our aim is to empower people to make their own choices about how they live their lives.

Key aspects of our approach:

Putting People First

Everything we do starts with the individual. We take the time to understand each person’s needs, strengths, aspirations, and routines. Working together with the person, their family, and professionals, we co-create a personalised support plan 18 that’s flexible, responsive, and designed to be person-centred and promotes longterm independence.

Living Independently with the Right Support

We support people to live in their own homes — often through individual or shared tenancies — with access to the help they need to live safely and confidently. Our support may incl

  • Help with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or shopping
  • Support to manage money, benefits, and bills
  • Encouragement to build social skills and community connections
  • Assistance with health appointments or managing medication
  • Support to access education, employment, or volunteering
Safe, Skilled, and Caring Teams

Our dedicated support teams are carefully selected and fully trained to provide highquality, person-centred care. All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks and receive ongoing mandatory training in:

  • Safeguarding, and health & safety
  • Medication Administration
  • Physical disabilities, mental health, sensory impairment, eating disorders
  • Positive behaviour support
  • Communication tools like Makaton or PECS

Respect for Difference

We pride ourselves on our culturally sensitive approach to care. Our diverse team understands and respects the diverse cultural backgrounds of our clients, ensuring that our supportive services are delivered in a way that honours individual beliefs, practices, and preferences. We recognize the importance of cultural competence in providing holistic support services

Quality You Can Trust

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our personal care services and follow all national standards, including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Care Act 2014. We maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the consistent mechanisms allow us to continuously improve our services. We regularly monitor outcomes and feedback to keep improving — because delivering safe, responsive, and empowering care is our top priority.

Working in Partnership

Supported living is all about teamwork. We work hand-in-hand with families, social workers, health services, local authorities, housing providers, and community organisations to ensure joined-up support and the people we support receive the right help at the right time. Our goal is simple: to empower people to live the lives they choose; in the communities they love.

Our Commitment

Our approach is fully aligned with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) key lines of enquiry (KLOEs)—ensuring our services are Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led. We are not just a provider of supported living services—we are a trusted partner in each young person’s journey toward independence, confidence, and well-being.

By aligning with the CQC’s five key standards, we ensure that every aspect of our service reflects excellence, integrity, and purpose. More than just meeting regulatory expectations, we aim to exceed them—delivering life-enhancing supported living that enables young people to thrive, not just survive. Our approach is not just compliant— it’s compassionate, consistent, and committed to change.
